Dancing in the Rain! Hansgrohe celebrates 10 years of its revolutionary Raindance shower

Transformative design concept evoking showering pleasure for a decade

Dubai, UAE, 21 October, 2013 - Hansgrohe, the luxury bathroom fittings specialist, is celebrating 10 years since it transformed the way people shower in the Middle East with the revolutionary ‘Raindance’ product range. Over this decade the sensual Raindance has been constantly changing and has set many bathroom trends.

First introduced in 2003, the bathroom environment was transformed with Raindance’s modern and futuristic design, which redesigned the shape and look of traditional hand showers. By introducing a large spray disc with three times as much surface, a flat silhouette, and a short handle to optimise the water spray quality, Hansgrohe forever reengineered the shower with the ultimate in showering pleasure in mind.

Complete with Raindance AirPower, the intelligent shower technology enriches water with air, giving rise to plump, soft droplets that bubble out of the spray disc like natural rain to gently caress the skin. The combination of water and air has also allowed consumers to save water more efficiently over the years, which is essential in the Middle East where water consumption is high, without impacting the high-quality water flow that Hansgrohe products are so famous for.

Raindance continues to be as popular today among consumers and commercial specifiers, as when it was first launched. First designed by Phoenix Design in their prestigious studio in Stuttgart, Hansgrohe has introduced a number of innovative products to the Raindance family over the years. With a style to suit every taste, the range includes shower wall bars, shower supports, shower sets, and shower combinations, enabling customers to benefit from a multitude of options in terms of comfort and pleasure.  

Shower systems such as shower pipes and shower panels have also been developed, along with complete solutions comprising a hand shower, an overhead shower, and a mixer.
